Health insurance FAQ
Can I buy health insurance outside open enrollment?
Yes, if you have a qualifying life event such as losing other coverage, moving, getting married or having a baby. You usually have 60 days from the event.
Do I qualify for a subsidy?
That depends on your household income and size and the cost of plans in your area. An agent can check your eligibility on the call.
What if I'm 65 or older?
We don't offer coverage for people 65 and older. If you tell us you're 65 or older, we'll point you to free, official government resources instead.
Are short-term plans a good idea?
They can bridge a short gap, but they don't have to cover pre-existing conditions or all essential health benefits. Ask your agent to compare them with Marketplace plans.
